On site
Go Eco is a wild space. Our site is located on a hill in open countryside and as such, the ground is uneven in nature with possible hidden animal holes and unseen tripping hazards. Care must be taken at all times even when on the obvious pathways. Exploring the space is at your own risk and you agree to take responsibility for your own safety.
The wooden deck and steps at the yurts can be slippery when wet or icy so extra care must be taken in these areas.
The lake is very deep in places, even close to the edge. Care must be taken at the lake edge at all times. A lifebuoy is provided for emergency use.
Go Eco accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to your property that may arise from your stay with us, unless due to a breach of a duty on our part.
Onsite parking is provided but vehicles and their contents are left at the owners own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.
Accessibility
Parts of the site are steeply sloping and some areas can be muddy and wet. All of the yurt decks are accessed by steps. The site may present challenges for people with limited mobility. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Dogs
Go Eco is a wildlife haven. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any pets and our planning permission expressly prohibits guests bringing dogs onto the site because of the risk of disturbance to the wildlife (especially our visiting otter).
Breakages and damage policy
We understand that from time-to-time breakages happen. Please inform us of any breakages when they occur, so we have a chance to order replacements for future guests. We reserve the right to charge customers for any breakages, especially for significant damage to the yurt, facilities hut or their contents. Guests will only be charged the cost of replacements or repairs to items or for additional cleaning costs if they are left in a particularly bad state.
We will not charge you for reasonable wear and tear.
Personal details and privacy
We are required to keep a register of all guests who stay with us, this includes full names, addresses and nationality, with passport details for overseas guests. This is in accordance with the (Immigration (Hotel records) Order 1972). These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of May 2018.
Any entries you make to an on-site guest book should not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed.
Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
